Vero Beach attorney, Michael K. Horowitz, has been named President of Florida Workers Advocates, the only organization of claimants’ attorneys representing injured workers in Florida. Florida Workers Advocates seeks to protect and defend the workforce of Florida and particularly the rights of Florida’s injured and disabled workers by providing fair and just treatment to those workers who suffer workplace injuries and those who are dependent on them. FWA is extremely active politically in protecting worker’s rights through the election and legislative process. Horowitz is the first attorney on the Treasure Coast to lead Florida Workers Advocates.
