Meet Our Attorneys
Attorney Edward “Ted” G. Matheson is the founding partner of Matheson and Horowitz. Ted attended the University of Florida and obtained a degree in finance. After graduating from law school, he spent about three years representing employers and insurance companies.
While working for insurance companies, Ted became fed up with the way injured workers and disabled individuals were being treated. In 1990, he formed his own firm with a partner, which was dedicated to representing only sick and injured individuals.
In 2000, experienced work injury attorney Michael K. Horowitz joined the firm, and Matheson and Horowitz was formed. Ted and Michael have decades of combined experience holding employers and insurers accountable for injured and disabled workers.
